We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the friendly, well-established small animal practice in the Southampton area as a consult only Vet.

This role is offered with flexible hours and if desired as a consults’ only role. That means that if you’re looking for school time hours only, or maybe fewer days but longer shifts or something slightly different, they would be happy to consider your requirements. There are also no OOH and the team ensure have a clear diary structure with 15-minute consults as standard. 

The well-established practice is flourishing with a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases including lots of dentistry and a small number of exotics giving the team the opportunity to learn and develop from a varied caseload.

As an RCVS accredited training practice, you’ll also be working with an incredible, skilled nursing team of 5 RVNs able to perform schedule 3 procedures, with a Head Nurse having been with there for 9 years now and one of the nurses first joining as a student nurse! There are 4 VCAs, in addition to a brilliant team of receptionists and Practice Manager who is also the onsite Mental Health First Aider.

You will receive:

A fantastic salary up to £64,000 per annum (FTE)
