We are seeking a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to work alongside an experienced leadership team.

The practice is a well-equipped clinic. It boasts dedicated wards, a large waiting room with segregated cat and dog areas. A spacious preparation area with a separate imaging suite.

Modern equipment includes digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, physiotherapy laser, and in house haematology and biochemistry machines.

There is a close knit team of dedicated and passionate Vets, Nurses and Receptionists.
You will be responsible for:

Managing the performance of the practice on a day-to-day basis
-        Ensuring all team members provide quality care to all clients and their pets.
-        Ensurin compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures
-        Ensuring all members of the nursing staff are aware of their roles and job description, working to clear objectives set
-        Carrying out regular performance reviews and update training requirements where necessary
-        Supporting Clinical Coaches with the planning of student tutorials and training where necessary
-        Rota management to always provide adequate cover of staff within the practice
-        Maintaining patients’ medical records
