We are looking for a Head Nurse to lead a wonderful nursing team, promoting and ensuring excellent standards of care to our patients and clients.
You will be joining a well-established RCVS accredited mixed practice located in the picturesque market town of Helston in Cornwall. Treating a variety of specie including seals and exotics. They have a lovely nursing team of 5 RVNs, 3 SVNS and 2 ANAs.
Ideally, we would like a candidate that has been in this role before, demonstrating strong leadership qualities and be capable of decision making and problem solving. The successful candidate would need to work closely alongside the Practice Manager and Clinical Directors, to maintain the high clinical standards. This role needs an organised individual with excellent communication skills and the exceptional ability to motivate the whole nursing team.
The role:
32 – 40 hours per week
1 in 7 on call rota
1 in 5 Saturday mornings
Schedule 3 procedures supported.
