We require a Veterinary Surgeon for mixed veterinary duties. The role will be a mix of small animal medicine and surgery alongside some large animal work (Dairy, Beef, Sheep and Equine) and will also include some TB testing work.
The hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm with one week night plus 1:4 weekend on call rota and inpatient care.
We also could accommodate small animal / large animal / mixed caseloads dependent on your preference.
Our Vets is a mixed practice based in the regency town of Sidmouth, East Devon on the coast. We have an additional clinic further inland at Ottery St Mary. Both are located with easy access to the Jurassic Coast, Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks. We are a 2 site group and have busy small animal clinics at both sites with the large animal side of the business being run from Sidmouth. We are proud to manage our own out of hours and our phones are outsourced in order to triage calls during these times.
Skill and compassion are a must for this position, working within a team but also sole charge. We have a full-time position based principally at our Sidmouth premises and will be a 4.5 day week.
