An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice. Our 24 hour hospital provides the out of hours and in-patient care for our practice.

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon who has good general practice knowledge and is confident with working up medical cases to a high standard as well as performing routine surgeries. 

This role will be ideal for someone with at least 1 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience.

You will work sole-charge in a supportive environment and a great team of nurses with lots of opportunity to improve your skills and confidence, one day a week you will have a more experienced vet alongside. The role will involve consulting, routine surgery as well as taking part in the weekend, bank holiday and on-call rota (average 2-3 weeks on-call per year).
The role is full time working 4 days per week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays. One of the days is likely to be at a nearby branch.

We offer a very competitive salary dependent on experience, up to £10,200 accommodation allowance per annum (FTE), Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance per annum (FTE), £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave per annum (FTE), VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid, 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays per annum (FTE).
