We are looking to recruit an Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care to join an A&E department based in a state-of the art veterinary hospital near Stockport. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pay high attention to detail.

This is a part-time position – 22 hours a week (with the option to pick up additional shifts if desired).

The shifts are 9pm – 9am with a 1-hour break. The pattern is on a 2 – week rotation. Week 1 = Tuesday and Wednesday night, Week 2 = Friday and Saturday night

RVN sole charge from 1am – 7.30am – there is a veterinary surgeon on the premises all night and an auxiliary nurse

There are opportunities to pick up other shifts if desired as well as the option to cover annual leave for the other night nurses.

A&E and hospital services are provided for both internal clients and surrounding user practice clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary ranging from £18,300 – £21,700pa

6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays (pro-rated for part time)

£600.00 CPD Allowance per annum
