Our client - a gold standard practice - are recruiting a new Veterinary Surgeon to join their small friendly team.

The role has a varied caseload where you will be working alongside an ambitious team having the opportunity to use your veterinary skills to their full potential.

As well as a large, designated colleague area, facilities at this purpose-built practice include 4 consulting rooms, operating theatre, central preparation room and all the equipment you would expect from a leading GP practice along with orthopaedic surgical kits. The practice has a travelling orthopaedic vet visit once a week on average, along with a heart vet every Thursday which gives the team further opportunity to learn and develop from the varied caseload.

Our client is ideally looking to take on a full-time candidate however they are open to discuss more flexible options. Full-time vets at this practice currently work 4 days a week, in addition to a shared weekend rota when open between 9am and midday on Saturday and 10am and midday on Sunday, for consultations and emergencies only. There are no OOH.

This position has an excellent package inclusive of a salary up to £60,000 per annum, Dedicated CPD allowance and time off including funding towards certificates, Contributory pension scheme, Paid professional memberships including RCVS and BVA, Extra day off for your birthday and plenty more.
