Our client - a small practice - are recruiting a new Veterinary Surgeon to join their team of 2 vets, who have 19 and 10 years’ of experience, 4 nurses, 1 student nurse, 2 veterinary care assistants, 3 client care advisors and 1 practice manager.

The role has a varied caseload where you will be working alongside an ambitious team having the opportunity to use your veterinary skills to their full potential. Typical day to days in the practice are well structured with an emphasis on quality over quantity, average about 12 consults per vet per day with a reasonable procedural load. As well as time to catch up on breaks and admin time being factored into the day, their non-clinical colleagues also join our consults to support with some of the admin.

Our client is ideally looking for a full-time candidate however is happy to discuss other alternatives with you for you to achieve a good balance between home and work. The practice currently work 2 different shifts from either 8:30 – 16:30 or 11:00 – 19:30, with an average of 3 early shifts for every 2 late shifts and just 1 in 4 weekends, with time off in lieu for the hours worked. No OOH.

This position has an excellent package inclusive of a salary up to £80,000 per annum, CPD encouraged including support towards research or Certificates, Contributory pension scheme, Relocation Allowance, Paid Memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS) and plenty more.
