We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a well established small animal practice located within the bustling city of Manchester.

The successful candidate will be joining a close-knit team of eleven veterinary surgeons, ten registered veterinary nurses, three trainee veterinary nurses, seven auxiliary veterinary nurses, eight receptionists and a practice manager.

This is a permanent full-time position. The rota is based on a 4 day a week, 1 weekend (mornings only) in 5 – 6. Shift patterns on weekdays are a mix of 9 - 4 and 9 - 7. There is a separate out of hours team, but you will be 2nd on call one day a week and one weekend in 5 primarily for advice for the out of hours vet or nurse.

The rota is designed to give a great work life balance, based on 40 hours and a 4 day week. Should a 5 day week be preferred to suit your lifestyle better, or Part Time, then this would be accommodated.

This particular practice is very well-equipped and is home to state-of-the-art equipment including digital xrays, video endoscopy, rigid endoscopy, dental xray, ultrasound, slit lamp etc.
