We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the friendly, independent small animal practice near Godalming.

This is a permanent position, working full-time hours on a flexible rota, with a fair share of weekends. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for the next step in their nursing career.

You will provide clinical support to the advanced orthopaedic team and patients. You will share responsibility for patient safety and quality of care from admission through to discharge and rehabilitation. You will work collaboratively as part of the advanced orthopaedic team with patient care assistants, interns, vets and other colleagues to meet the needs of patients.

You will assist with anaesthesia, surgery and diagnosis and provide nursing care to patients passing through the preparation and theatre areas. You will be responsible for delivering a high level of nursing care to the patients through the entire anaesthesia/surgical/diagnostic process. When necessary you will also assist with the training and integration of new staff to the team as required.
