We are on the hunt for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our highly regarded client in Essex.

The practice are ideally looking for a full time candidate but less hours would be considered if it fitted around the rota/other staff.

A full-time role spans over a 4 day a week. Two of the days you will work 8:30am - 8pm and the 2 other days will be 8:30 - 5pm. The weekend consists of 1 in 7 Saturday mornings 8.30am-1pm and 1 in 7 duty weekends consisting of Friday evening consults, Saturday morning. There is a minimal on-call back up rota for inpatients and dealing with emergencies that come in before 8pm, once every two weeks. This ensures a healthy work/life balance.

Bank holidays are on a fair rota basis, up to two per year, taking the same working pattern as Sundays.

The team find themselves in a position rare position as the need to recruit for staff doesn't normally occur but they have a team member off travelling the world so will be in need of an extra pair of hands. They hold a great reputation in the area and are incredibly proud of their services on offer to the clients.
