We have an opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join the team near Whitchurch, Shropshire.

Working hours are over 4 days per week, 8am-6pm, and a weekend rota of 1:4 Saturdays, 8:30am-1:00pm. Part time and flexible working patterns happily considered. This role comes with no OOH’s or bank holiday commitments.

This well established, experienced team includes 6 vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 8 support staff. They pride themselves in being able to offer on-site medical consultations, cardiology work ups, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries, and a wide range of nurse led consults. They have an exciting range of equipment for use within the practice including x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab, bronchoscope and dental x-ray.

The clinic has recently undergone a refurbishment to improve the client waiting areas, providing a separate area for cats and dogs, as well as 5 updated consultation rooms, a new reception and space for administration.

Salary and Benefits:

An excellent salary – up to £60,000pa

6 weeks holiday entitlement including bank holidays.

RCVS membership reimbursed and VDS cover

CPD allowance of £1750 (this would increase for a certificate holder)
