An exciting opportunity has arisen in this small animal practice in Chelmsford for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking registered veterinary nurse.

The full time rota consists of an average of 40 hours per week. Weekday shifts vary between 8.30am and 7.30pm and you will be required to work 1 full weekend every 5 weeks. Lieu days will be provided for each weekend worked and there are no out of hours duties or on call. However, the rota can altered for part-time requirement's.

This is a purpose built practice with leading standards and state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray and high spec ultrasound. They have 3 consultation rooms, dedicated operating theatre, lab area, prep room and separate dog, cat and isolation wards.

The current team consists of 4 Vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 VCAs, 3 receptionists and a practice manager and admin team. The practice owner is keen to offer support to all of the team and encourage any specific areas of interest.

The practice also has a higher than average level of small furry exotic patients so there are plenty of opportunities to gain experience in this area.
