An opportunity for a Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive team based in Cumbria.

The vets usually work 40 hours per week across 4/5 days, with 1:4 weekends working on call at home from 7pm on Friday and in surgery from 8:30am to 1pm on Saturday, then on-call supported by a nurse for the remainder of the weekend. The role also includes 1 night per week on call.

The practice holds a strong team of 8 Vets, supported by 4 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student veterinary nurses, 3 animal care assistants and a Practice Manager, Farm Services Manager and a team of 6 highly skilled Receptionists. There is also two vets working towards certificates.

A flexible rota can be accommodated for the candidate.

This role can be tailored to suit a new graduate or a more experienced Veterinary Surgeon.
