We are looking to recruit two Veterinary Surgeons, ideally one of those being a new graduate and the other to have surgical bias to join the team.
This is a first opinion small animal practice with a very varied and interesting caseload. The clinical Clinical Director is a surgery certificate holder and can provide appropriate support throughout study, which they can fully fund.
A full-time week consists of 4 days and a 1:6 Saturday morning. There are no out of hours. They understand that not everyone can or wants to work a standard full time week and we are happy to discuss flexible and part time working options.
The team is well-established, including certificate holders in Medicine and Surgery, and a nursing certificate holder in dentistry. They have colleagues with a keen interest in imaging, and so have excellent ultrasound machines in both branches, digital radiography, and a video endoscope. They are looking to make some purchases of new surgical equipment and would love new colleagues to be involved in this decision-making process.
Currently there is a team of 8 Veterinary Surgeons (5 FT equivalent), 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, and 2 Animal Nursing Assistants.
