We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team.
The day to day duties include carrying out general anaesthetics, preparing patients for theatre, scrubbing in to assist with Laparoscopic, Orthopaedic and Spinal referrals, providing gold standard inpatient care, laboratory work, assisting with dispensing of medications, assisting with radiographs, cleaning and sterilising of surgical equipment and helping to support any students who are part of the team. 
 
The job is a full-time position, Monday - Friday. This is for a 40-hour week and so the shifts can be spread across either 4 or 5 days, either 8am-7pm for 4 days a week or 8am-5pm and 10am-7pm alternating weeks for a 5 day week. There is a 1 in 8 Saturday morning shift with no other OOH shifts.
 
The salary for this role will be up to £31,000 depending on experience.
They have all up to date equipment including: multiparameter machines, DR X-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, laparoscopic spay equipment, rhinoscopy, endoscopy and arthroscopy equipment, K-laser and an EO Steriliser. 
 
The team consists of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants and 3 Receptionists. They have 1 Vet who is a Surgical certificate holder and 1 Vet who is an Advanced Practitioner, has a certificate in Small Animal Orthopaedics and also specialises in Spinal surgery and Regenerative Medicine.
