We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join this successful team.
This is a permanent position to cover a range of duties including theatre, anaesthetic monitoring, inpatient care, nurse clinics and more. There is also opportunity to progress within specific areas of interest.
A standard full-time week is 40 hours with a fixed day off per week but there is flexibility in this.
Likewise, a standard day is 08:00-18:30 with a 30-minute lunch break but we can be flexible to accommodate other commitments you might have to achieve a good work-life balance. You will be required to work 1 in 4 weekends, 6 hours (08:30-14:30) which is either salaried or as time off in lieu. We are closed Sundays and Bank holidays and there are no on call duties.
They have a range of equipment such as digital x-ray, new ultrasound machine, new dental x-ray, orthopaedic, soft tissue, and dental theatres, full in-house Idexx lab (haematology, biochemistry analyser, microscope). We also have separate dog and cat kennels.The team consists of 6 (soon to be 8) veterinary surgeons, 4 RVNS and 1 ANA and 9 support team members. We have certificate holders in surgery, medicine (and ophthalmology, results pending) as well as a dermatologist and another surgery certificate.
