An exciting opportunity has become available for a Registered Veterinary nurse. We cover all aspects of small animal and exotic Veterinary care and day to day Nurse duties will include monitoring anaesthetics, assisting Vets, running in house diagnostics, taking X-rays, and supporting customers. We encourage our Nurses to make the role their own, supporting training and new ways of thinking, with opportunities to run Nurse clinics/CPD evenings and open days if this is something that interests you.
Working here you will have the opportunity to work with visiting imaging and endoscopy specialists. We offer laparoscopic procedures in house, and we offer full training in the set up and monitoring of procedures.
We have both full time and part time opportunities available here. Working a mixture of early and late shifts between; 8:30am -7:00pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 8:30am-13.00pm on a rota system. No out of hours work.
The salary for the role is up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
We have Vets with a wealth of knowledge in small animal and exotic care. Our clinic is large, roomy and has recently been refurbished. We offer large kennel area, theatre and Prep room and a dedicated animal exercise area.
We have 2 very experienced Veterinary Surgeons and a Locum Vet once a week. There is 1 Head Nurse, 1 full time Nurse and 1 part time Nurse. We have 3 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. We have an exceptionally supportive and encouraging networks for all our employees. Therefore, there is lots of support for you as a Nurse both in your role and with any training you wish to undertake.
