We’re recruiting! Full-time vet required for a 100% small animal practice in coastal Dorset. This role is for a Senior Vet to become part of a small leadership team, undertaking management tasks, including HR & KPIs.

We deliver first class patient care whilst offering a caring, supportive environment in which to work, benefiting both the team, our clients, and their pets. This is an exciting time to join us, as we just celebrated our 25th anniversary and undergoing a refurbishment of the practice.

We are small team of 16: 1 Practice Director (Non-Clinical), 4 Vets (3.5 FTE), 3 RVNs, 2 ANAs (1.5 FTE), 4 Receptionists (2.2 FTE), and 2 Admin Support colleagues.

We have excellent, modern facilities with separate waiting areas and kennels for dogs and cats/small animals to ensure as little stress and discomfort as possible to the pets in our care. We offer an on-site laboratory, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and a state-of-the-art operating theatre, so you’ll have everything you need to work to your very best.

Full-time hours, but we can offer flexibility if this is carried out over 4.5 days or 4 days. Hours to be covered include: 8.30 – 6.30pm Monday to Friday, 1:3 late Wednesdays 11am – 8pm, and 1:4 Saturdays 8.30 – 5pm. No OOH (we use Vets Now for this).

Salary: £55k – £57k
